Give every task a clear owner.

When everything comes back to you, even a small task can take up too much of your day. We can make responsibility, timing and follow-up easier to see.

The person behind the work

I’m Devinder.
I like making
things happen.

Devinder WaliaBusiness owner. Project coordinator.

My background combines business ownership with hands-on coordination of people, suppliers and projects.

I am a director of Sabrang International Ltd and 121 Un Limited. My work brings together day-to-day business operations and creative projects, with a practical focus on organising the details and keeping work moving.

I work with owners who are spending too much time following up tasks, coordinating people and holding everything together themselves. My support starts with understanding the situation, agreeing what matters and taking practical action.

Through Sabrang International, I also work around music and creative projects. It is another part of my working life where bringing people and moving parts together matters.

Practical notes

Small changes.
A more workable day.

A few straightforward ideas for owners who want a clearer way to organise the work.

01Taking ownershipWhy the same task keeps coming back

When a task repeatedly returns to the owner, check who is responsible, when it should be finished and what completion should look like. A shared list often records the task while leaving those details unclear.

Try it with five outstanding tasks. Give each a named owner and a realistic date. Agree what evidence will show the task is complete, then decide when to review progress together.

If an action still does not move, ask whether the person needs a decision, information or authority. A clearer task list can expose the actual obstacle.

02Improving operationsStart with one workflow

Choose a recurring process that causes visible friction, such as a handover, supplier follow-up or the way project actions are tracked. Define where that process begins and ends.

Walk through what happens today with the people doing the work. Identify the information they need, who makes decisions and where work waits. Then agree one practical change you can try.

Review what changed before adding another tool or process. The useful measure is whether the work is easier to complete and responsibility is clearer.

03Moving projects forwardBefore you restart a delayed project

Begin with the result you still need. Ask whether the original brief remains useful, what has changed and which decision is holding up the next step.

Separate actions that can move now from those waiting for information or approval. Give each action an owner and agree a short review date.

A small, agreed sequence of actions is easier to coordinate than a long list with no clear priority. Keep the plan visible and update it as decisions are made.

Before we speak

A few useful
answers.

Who do you work with?

My focus is owners of small service businesses, especially where the owner is coordinating people, suppliers and day-to-day tasks. A specific operational challenge is a useful starting point. We can use an introductory call to check whether the work fits.

Will you help put the plan into practice?

Yes, when that work is included in our agreed scope. The Clarity Session produces a plan. The Operations Reset and Monthly Operations Support include practical work on agreed actions, workflows and coordination.

Can we work together remotely?

Remote support is available where it suits the work. I also serve Slough, Berkshire and West London. Any on-site requirements, travel and associated costs are agreed before work begins.

What happens after I send an enquiry?

I review the information you provide and reply using your email address. If the work looks suitable, we can arrange a 15-minute introductory call. You receive a written scope and total fee before any paid work is agreed.

Does the form confirm an appointment or charge me?

The form sends an enquiry or a request for a call. A date and time are agreed separately, and no payment is taken through this website.

Can I enquire about music, artists or events?

Yes. Sabrang International is the home for my music and creative project work. You can visit Sabrang using the link in the About section, or mention your project in an enquiry here.
